Birmingham based, National rental company Ultimate Access Hire has taken delivery of two, all new, all electric Sinoboom 5389RE Rough Terrain Scissor Lifts, supplied via exclusive GB distributor Pinnacle Platforms.
The 5389RE, 18.2m (59’9”), working height machines now give Ultimate Access customers solutions to work higher, cleaner and more productively with a platform capacity of 680kg (1,499lbs) with space and rated for up to four persons, working on both indoor and outdoor applications.
The Ultimate Access Team who visited the 2021 Vertikal Days event, where Pinnacle Platforms were exhibiting, became one of the first hirers to meet the Sinoboom fleet. The company were so impressed, an order for some 10 machines was placed on the stand, at the show, with subsequent repeat orders being placed throughout the intervening 18 months.
Ultimate Access Hire Co-Founder Amarpal Gill said,” These larger, Rough Terrain 5389RE Scissor Lifts we have purchased, have been acquired from the demand generated by the existing Sinoboom products we have in the fleet. Customers prefer the all-electric version, versus noisier, more costly diesel alternatives. With site charging infrastructure improving, these zero emission machines are the ideal solution for urban projects, they are also compliant when working in city centres within clean air zones”.
Mr Gill concluded “Sinoboom are building a great reputation, the feedback from our customers is very positive. We are finding these machines offer a hassle-free hire, with cladders in particular, taking the rough terrain scissor lifts for extended hire periods, as they can carry more product safely in the basket. The machines are reliable and any response we have required thus far from Pinnacle is, I have to say, first class”.
Pinnacle Platforms MD Tim White said, “Many thanks to Amarpal for once again choosing Sinoboom, we know how important offering zero emissions machines is to the business and it has been our pleasure to support Ultimate Access, as they build their clean, green powered access fleet”.
The 5389RE is fitted with low-maintenance batteries from leading German manufacturer Hoppecke, optimised to enable faster charging and ensure longer cycle life.
